1st Day of Kindergarden

Hi all - Just got back from dropping off Walter at his first day of Kindergarden. I made it back to the car before my tears errupted! He was so brave and so excited about his first day at Wrightville Beach School. The whole family came for the event and needless to say Ali already made her mark. She arrived with chocolate on her shirt from the choc-chip pancakes and had a sausage patty in hand as we took the family photo. She proceeded to eat it thoughout the whole dropoff! It was a sight! :) Here are some pics from the big morning!!

Walter kindergarden playdate

Walter starts Kindergarden at Wrightsville Beach Elementary on Thursday and we had a PTA planned kindergared playdate today (sat, aug23) and it was great. Here are some pics!

Roses and backyard fun

I planted a rose garden this spring and all the hard work is paying off. Just look at my roses! I've got 4 differnt varietys.

Forest Theater Puppet Show with Grandmom (Chapel Hill)

Walter and i went up to visit aunt amanda and new baby john in DC. . along the way we picked up furniture in Chapel Hill and Grandmom P. Here are some pics from the trip!

Grandmom P took us to a wonderful outdoor "puppet" show about insects. It was truly an amazing show and walter just loved it!!

Playdough and Bikes

Hi all - been a busy day here. Here are some pics from our playdough time and riding bikes. We have just started teaching walter to ride a big boy bike and he just got a new "big boy" green bike to learn on. He's very proud. Training wheels should come off soon! Check out how much ali has grown up this summer and what a cutie pie Taylor is!
